On September 6th, we launched QuotesHub's initial version, and today, I want to share the story of how we’ve progressed from a basic concept to a more refined beta version.

The Beginning: Alpha Version

 

When we first went live on September 6th, QuotesHub was a humble beginning. The site, built with Bootstrap, featured basic functionality and a straightforward UI. We were excited to introduce a platform where you could create and share quotes, but we knew there was much more to come.

 

 

 

The Transition: Embracing Tailwind CSS

 

As time went on, we realized the need for a more dynamic and visually appealing interface. This led to a significant transition from Bootstrap to Tailwind CSS. The shift was more than just a change in framework; it was a transformation in how we approached design and functionality.

With our beta version, we’ve introduced several exciting features that enhance the user experience:

Like/Dislike and Saves: Interact with quotes by liking or disliking them, and save your favorites for easy access later.

Profile Dashboard: Manage your own quotes, update your username, change your password, and edit your bio—all from a personalized dashboard.

Custom and Existing Categories: Create custom categories or use existing ones to organize your quotes more effectively.

Quote Translation: Translate quotes into your favorite languages, making them accessible to a broader audience.

Future Features: We’re planning to introduce comments and photo quotes to further enrich the platform and your experience.

Optimal Experience: For the best experience, we recommend using Google Chrome, which ensures that all features function smoothly and efficiently.
